Add more information for your readers by publishing up to 12 Twitter accounts and up to 6 search terms or hashtags directly into your live event. Once you’re live, use Twitter search to add specific tweets, entire search items, or particular accounts - all on the fly. You control what gets published, just like with moderated comments.

Panelist / Producer
|
March 2008 |
Instead of launching several different events to cover multi-day or long events, you can now put your live event into Standby Mode. This lets you take long breaks and disconnect, then come back at any time within 48 hours to continue. While in Standby, your readers can catch up on what has happened so far. A great feature for conference attendees or all-day sports events.

Involve your readers in your event. Panelists are contributors with access to an enhanced Console. They can post live links in HTML and view all commentary, published or not, but do not help run the event. The Panelist role is suitable for “guest speakers”, and for featuring multiple writers.
If you expect a very large audience or are covering a complicated topic, you may want to invite Producers to help you run the event so you can focus on the commentary. Producers have access to the Writer’s Console including the Media Library, and can do everything the writer can do with the exception of starting the event.
