Replies / Q&A tweet search

The "Reply" feature makes it easy to publish a response to any reader comment, Tweet, image or media item. It's a great feature for hosted Q&A sessions since it allows Writers to directly answer submitted questions, and then publish both the question and answer together into the event. Multiple Panelists can also create Panel discussions by replying to the same item at one time.

How it Works

  • Reply to any item - Mouseover any unpublished reader comment, search or media item (from anywhere in EventStudio) and click the Reply icon. A rich text editor will open allowing you to enter a comment. When you are done, click the blue "Reply" button to publish. The reply is published along with the original item in real-time. Both items are threaded together visually in the Viewer Window, making it easy for your Readers to follow along.
  • Reply to a Published Post - To reply to a published comment or item, mouseover that item from the 'Live Event viewer' in EventStudio and click the Reply icon. The reply will be added below the original item. Replies appear in the order published, with subsequent replies added below.
  • Panel Discussions - More then one user can reply to the same item from EventStudio. When another Panelist is replying, a notification will appear. This makes it easy to know when a question is already being answered, or to add additional opinions. If a Writer or Producer wants to pose a question directly to a Panelist we recommend giving the Panelist "SmartStream" access and then using the new "Save to SmartStream" option to post the question into the stream.
  • Save to SmartStream - Post a comment directly into the SmartStream where it can be seen by other contributors, and published as needed during the event. This is a great feature for submitting comments to your Producer for approval, or for posing a question to a Panelist with SmartStream access.
