Good morning:

It's been a beautiful weekend and today it looks like it will be another hot September day.
Environment Canada is forecasting a high of 24 degrees Celsius.

The view of Conception Bay Sunday while I was driving to Kelligrews was beautiful. Here's a few photos I took.

In another water-related incident, on Saturday, around 11:15 p.m., Trinity Conception RCMP received a call from a resident of Coley's Point advising that they could hear a person out on the ocean calling for help.

The Wolverine's Search and Rescue assisted with a zodiac rescue boat and were able to successfully retrieve the man and his boat.

Police say the man couldn't get his engine started and was very thankful that somebody heard him calling out. There were no injuries, and the RCMP said the man was properly dressed for the situation.
