I hate losing, but we have so much to gain if we get the #1 overall draft pick. Then I say trade the pick. A lot of experts are saying the #1 pick will be worth at least 3 if not 4 1st round draft picks among other picks and possibly a veteran or two. This could make the Rams very competative next year.

But the Colts can clinch that firs overall pick with another loss. I'd expect them to tank.

I dont see giving Spags an extension. You don't want a lame duck coach trying to motivate a 2-14 team next year do you? Yea Spags needs to go. I have no clue whom we could get.

That Jacksonville game is winnable for the Colts. That would be unsportsmanlike if they did tank the game to the Jags. Just think of the number of holes we could fill by trading the #1 pick if we got it.We have now overtaken Minnesota for the #2 pick via strength of opponents schedule.

I am worried the current staff would screw up a massive trade with the #1 pick, and the Rams would be on the short end because this GM is a poor judge of talent...

What Rams are playing for new contracts or contract extensions today and the past couple of weeks. I would expect a lot of turnover on the roster from this year to next year

Especially if we traded with Cleveland. They have 2 first rounders this year with the boatload of picks they acquired from the Falcons by allowing them to move up to take Julio Jones. We could immediately get either a WR, OT, LB, or CB in the first round plus our high pick in the 2nd round then if we could get the Brown's pick in the 2nd round. We could be competative if we "hit" on our draft picks.
