I like the Roush Racing guys. They always do well here. Mike Pryson has David Ragan. I'll take Carl Edwards. And I might change my mind in the next 10 minutes.

Who's your pick?

I will bet you 10 units that Junior does not win the race today. He's a great driver, but he hasn't won in forever, and he doesn't fare that well at MIS. The place would go absolutely nuts if he won, though.

Mike and I are going to step away from the laptops pretty soon. The coolest part of race day at the track is the flyover ... and the best place to see it is from the top of the press box.

What do you think of Kyle Busch's chances?
Sunday June 15, 2008 1:57 18rocks
1:57
Chris Iott:
Clearly, he's the hottest driver on the circuit right now, but his practice speeds weren't that great on Saturday. The start could be interesting with some of the fastest cars starting in the middle of the pack. I would bet that Busch will get shuffled back into the field a bit, but he certainly could be a contender by the end of the race.

Yeah that is the only problem I se he has is his attitude, but He seems to be a good racer, and seems to be doing better this year than last year.
Sunday June 15, 2008 2:45 Donna Walsh
2:45
Chris Iott:
But it seems like people say that every year. And then sooner or later he loses his mind. Stewart really can be a great guy ... funny, charming and all that jazz. But sooner or later, he blows his stack at someone for no reason and loses all the credit for the progress he's made. Still, with all that said, he has been better this year.

A major toll. I was expecting maybe 10,000 empty seats, but it looks like there are about 25,000. Gas is expensive, especially when you're towing a trailer. And a lot of people don't have jobs or have taken cuts.

What are Elliot Sadler's chances today? I work for Best Buy and it'd be nice to see him have a good finish.... or just finish for that matter...

Sadler ran fast in practice, but he hasn't been a factor today. He is in 11th right now though. Definitely in contention for a good finish, but not a win.

How big is the crowd today? They were talking about having a smaller than usual turnout this year due to gas prices and the economy.
