Brad Wilson:
Hi all, big week this week! Easton meets Becahi and P'burg, Warren Hills-North Hunterdon, Liberty-Freedom ... lots to talk about.

Brad Wilson:
The region team rankings got scrambled last week and they could again this week. Good battles among teams at the top.

Brad, what tossup bouts could make Easton competitive against Beca?
Tuesday January 22, 2013 7:01 LVCer
7:02
Brad Wilson:
LVCer, Becahi is maybe vulnerable 132-138-145, 220 .... 182?

[Comment From DwirlDwirl: ]
Hey Brad, what criteria do you use to determine weights for rankings. I see Pobgracz bouncing back and forth from 126-132 and hear O'Donnell is heading up to 220 permanently.

Pburg vs Easton. Who wins

Brad Wilson:
Dwirl that is a judgment call. In Pongo's case, he seem to split his time between 126 and 132 and since we are loaded at 126 I am happy to shift him up, as it gets a deserved spot for him and reflects the weight class. When I hear of a permanent move I make the change (I will ask Ray tomorrow(. Generally kids go at the LOWEST weight possible.
Tuesday January 22, 2013 7:04 Brad Wilson
7:04
Brad Wilson:
River Rat: Easton. Not rooting of course, either team winning is a good story. But Easton is a touch deeper.

Got to see Mike Racciato for the first time this season, he had three takedowns in about 12 seconds ... seemed sort of unfair the level he was wrestling at

Yeah, but in O'Donnell's case I think he knows he can't beat Solomon and is moving up and away from him.

Fantasy match up....Mike Racciato vs. Tim Darling....Who wins?
Tuesday January 22, 2013 7:07 Steven

Easton has the luxury of winning a few 3-2 matches. P'burg needs pins.
Tuesday January 22, 2013 7:07 Brad Wilson

Steven: now Mikey would (smile). Timmy was so tough to score on ... but I'd say Racciato.

To go back to Easton-P'burg -- the toss matters. Easton may well have beaten Bethlehem Catholic last year if they'd won the toss.

Steven that's an amazing question. that's a toss up in my opinion going to OT with Mikey getting the win. (Sorry Timmy D)

River Rat my apologies I thought you wanted Easton -BC matches. In Easton-P'burg I'd say 120, 138, 152, 170 and 182.

Nazareth was missing seven starters vs. Liberty. Dave Crowell said he's never seen anything like it.

Excited to announce that FloWrestling will be covering Easton-P'Burg on Thursday. Should be a fun one for the site's first trip to the Pit. Shot film and interviews at both practices today, and all matches will go up on the site. Still working on whether it'll be a live stream or tape delay.

I heard some of Nazareth's injuries may be season-ending and Blue Eagles may not make D11 duals field. Who would have thunk it?

Brad Wilson:
Remember they didn't last year either. I asked Coach Crowell about the injuries and he was a bit coy with me -- unusual -- so we will see.

District duals really should be Easton-Parkland final, I think, esp. if Nazareth is banged up. AA Becahi-Saucon Valley.
