Luke Babbitt starts in his place, and with the Blazers embracing their young players we see little hope of Batum returning for the final two games of the season, Monday and Thursday. Aldridge has regressed from being a power forward under Buck Williams tenure. Aldridge has poor footwork for a big man. I think there is some guy who has studied and can teach big men in the key. That's what a GM's staff gets paid to do, but just getting a player that played the position to bang against is not what a player like Aldridge or Thabeet need. They need a technically oriented guy who can emphasize fundamentals.
