I'm just not buying it. I agree with everything you've said about him being "above reproach" and the best player in the game, etc. But it only goes so far. When he starts taking unnecessary chances with his ability/health, it's just foolish. Just play your fundamental game and quit with all the cute stuff.

That's the thing Nick -- he will never be a fundamental first baseman -- Not left-handed, not overly flexible. He works with what he has and has MADE himself into a gold-glove first baseman. Some of the plays he makes are just unreal over there and we are lucky to watch it on a daily basis. See you guys in about 30 minutes.
