Welcome to the Mid-American Conference Championship game. Tonight, the battle of I-76 goes round three as the Kent State Golden Flashes take on the Akron Zips. It is about 10 minutes until tipoff. Looking at the crowd, it seems to be very Kent State heavy. The Akron student section is near the floor, while it seems like the Kent Students are sitting up high.-Jeff

These two teams have had big games, but I cannot remember a bigger game between the two. Never have the two schools met in the MAC Championships, and this can only add to what is actually becomming a legit, awsome rivalry to be apart of. Already, the two sides are trying to outcheer each other.

Without a doubt this game has become the best rival in the area. I think Kent State should win, but it will be tough to beat Akron. No one has looked better than Akron in this tourny. But Kent played a better team last night in Miami so we know that they're ready.-joe

Coach Christian is doing an excellent job coaching so far. By substituting alot, he is allowing several of his players to foul without putting anyone in foul trouble.
