Monday July 21, 2008 4:53

Something I find really, really rude and really, really grotesques of the press to keep hammering on.
Monday July 21, 2008 4:54
4:54
[Comment From SethSeth: ]
An article mentioned that Steve Jobs' health is also a question going to be asked. In my opinion, his health does mean a lot to the company right now

I think it would be best for the company to take on Steve's health head on... The fact that they're not is worrisome
Monday July 21, 2008 4:55 Mike
4:55
Mike -- agreed. But it is ultimately Steve' choice. HIPPA and
whatnot.

Agreed. Few companies have ever been tied so directly to the input of one person tho, and if that has investors spooked it's gonna be hard to keep putting it off.

Steve was gone before wasn't he? Anyone remember their history?
Monday July 21, 2008 4:57 Kyle

It would be different without him now. I dunno if it would be as much of a disaster, but they are definitely a bigger player than the first time he left
Monday July 21, 2008 4:58 Mike
4:58
Mike - agreed -- the company is in better financial shape than ever before, the core products are understood. But it would be a huge, huge loss.

don't buy in after-market. With sndk axp reporting poor guidance, stocks will open sharply lower, and there will still be some negative pressure. buy at limit price 144.70 as it'll test 145, dip right below it, then computerized mutual fund buying will snap it right back up.

how deep do they think iPhone/smartphoen can penetrate globally. They aren't rpedicting demand, they are confident of supply and are growing the market and showing people what a phone can really do. They think the shift in the phone industry will be to smartphone over voicephone over time.
