All employees should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Those traveling on the roadways may subject themselves to arrest.

County sheriffs also have the ability to close all roads in the county, which includes  any city street  in their jurisdiction.

STORM TRACK11 WEATHER BLOG:

A lot of the area saw some decent snow yesterday into the overnight. Amounts averaging 5″ were common as of 7 am.

Periods of steady snow will last at least the first half of the day. Winds will increase a bit upwards of 15 mph or slightly higher at times.

The snow with this storm will be very light and powdery in nature, so any wind will blow and drift the snow around.
