Comment From Robert in Warner Robins : My credit cards state on the back of them "NOT VALID UNLESS SIGNED". A store may refuse to accept the credit card UNLESS it is signed.

All of my credit cards state on the back of them "NOT VALID UNLESS SIGNED". A store can refuse to accept them if they are not signed.

About 2 months ago I called at the end of the show and talked to Mr. Robert Terry about charities accountability and he asked me to call him and I've been doing that since then buy I haven't been able to get in touch with him.

Based on a tip by a well-known GA consumer advocate I started putting "photo ID required" on the back of all of my credit cards. Whenever someone does check, they have always asked for the ID and never stated a problem with not having a signature. I use my license which does have my signature.

Speaking of phone companies, I recently had a service charge of $19.99 added to my bill for something I did not request. The phone company told me they are required by GA law to add these unless you specifically request otherwise. Is this true?
