District 10 Postgame - Friday

10:16
Hi fans, welcome to the District 10 Postgame blog. This is Tom Reisenweber with stats and analysis from tonight's action.
10:17
Congratulations to East's Wendell Torres and Hickory's Matt Durisko who each went over 1,000 points tonight for their respective teams.
10:17
Torres has 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in his career. If the Warriors make a deep playoff run, he could challenge his coach Matt Jones' scoring record at East.
10:19
McLane hung with the Warriors for the most part, but not having Luke Jahn to handle the ball hurt them.
10:19
Mercyhurst Prep established its dominance over Region 4 with another big win tonight against Fairview. The Lakers and Warriors should walk away with their regions barring some major meltdowns.
10:20
The Villa Maria girls had a tough one in Huntingdon, West Virginia tonight is a loss to national power Oak Hill Academy.

What a shock that Villa girls lose when they aren't playing the Iroquois' and Eisenhower's of the world.
10:21
Let's be fair Zach, Villa's only two losses are to national powers. I can see them winning a state championship again this year.

[Comment From Joey]
What happened to Harbor Creek? Players were talking about how great of coach Dolak is, and Dolak was bragging that he had three college players on his team?
10:22
I don't know anything about that and won't speculate on rumors Joey. All I know is Warren is a brutal place to win and the Huskies found that out tonight. It will be a great race in Region 6 for third and fourth place over the next two weeks.
