I would really, really be interested to know how on earth you decided that Chip Kelly is more influential in Oregon sports than Mike Riley. Keep in mind Kelly had never, let me repeat that, never been in a head coaching position until this spring at U of O. Furthermore, he has only been in the state for two years, and is yet to complete a single season in the drivers seat at Oregon. How he is more influential than a guy who is in his second stint as head coach of OSU, has been to, and won, five bowl games, while amassing a 48-28 record in the process, including two wins over #2-#1 ranked USC teams is beyond me. I guess you just know that Riley is such a good guy he'll still do interviews with you even if you shovel crap on him, over, and over. Alternatively, you feel the need to suck up to the fans of a program you renounced last year after the head coaches wife attacked you in the press box. Either way your analysis is dead wrong, it's a pretty indefensible position John.

Thanks for answering my question John. I agree that it could be a great year for Chip and i'll agree stepping into that position at this time could be make or break for him. However, I think your analysis on U of O facilities leaves a little to be desired. Phil Knight is huge for them, and runaway #1 for this list, but you fail to mention $200 million that U of O gets from the state to build that new arena.
