Maria Di Mento -  Hello, and welcome to today’s online discussion. Today we’re looking at a subject near and dear to the hearts of many in the nonprofit world: executive compensation at nonprofit organizations.

Maria Di Mento -  A recent Chronicle of Philanthropy report found that chief executives at 29 percent of the organizations that participated in The Chronicle’s survey took a pay cut because of the recession, and that the median 2008 compensation among all nonprofit groups that participated in the survey stood at $361,538.
