6:55 | Lapeer West and Fenton both struggled in Week 1 against teams that didn't make the playoffs last season. It wasn't that surprising that Kearsley gave West a tough battle, but the real stunner was that Swartz Creek stayed within 14-12 of Fenton. Fenton blew out Creek 38-0 (something like that) last year. Creek went 1-8 and Fenton was 8-1 last season. I'm not sure if that means Fenton isn't as talented as last year and is going to be only about quarterback Tyler Hamilton this year or if it was an aberration. We'll find out shortly. |
