John McClain - Gang, sorry to be late. This has been a busy day. I got back from Vegas on a red-eye, went home to take care of Socks and Buster, went to the Texans to do interviews and now we're going to chat until 2.

Hey John .Hope you had i good time in Vegas. With the signings of Cato June and Buster Davis the texans are deep at linebacker. Will these signings affect what they want to do in the first round of the draft

John McClain - It gives them flexibility. They still need a big, big-play OLB. June is Adibi with experience. There's no guarantee Davis will make the team. The first-round pick needs to start.

Everyone seems to be asking the wrong questions about Ryans and Robinson. I was never worried about this year, rather, the 2010, 2011 and so forth. I feel like Ryans will be locked up by this time next year, but I'm not so sure about Robinson. Do you think these guys will stick around next year?

John McClain - Robinson can be franchised again in 2010. Ryans has fired his agent. I think he'll be signed before camp. The Texans are trying to win this year or there may not be another year for Kubiak. They have to make decisions to win now.

Matthews and Cushing tested positive for steroids at the combine. If this is true how do you the texans yet alone the rest of the league are going to look at those guys

John McClain - If it's true, I think both will free fall and lose millions. If it's not true, I feel terrible for them. I hope it's not true.

Any word on what draft prospects the Texans are hosting for visits or holding private workouts for? If no, why do they seem to be so much more close lipped than anyone else?

John McClain - They don't want other teams to know who they're bringing in. I can tell you who they're bringing in -- players at need positions like OLB, RB, DT, DE, CB, FS, SS, C-G.
