Last season, Louisville recorded 507 yards of offense against UConn (compared to the Huskies' 279) -- in a heartbreaking 26-21 loss.

Louisville has the third-best passing offense in the Big East (go figure!); UConn has the second-best pass defense.

Tom Heiser - I guess that depends on the extent of his injury. If he can play within the next game or two, I would say yes. But any greater delay might push him back to bolster depth next season.

Tom Heiser - I thought so at the beginning of the season. But the Cards just haven't been consistent enough for me to think that they can win on the road against good competition. UConn's two-headed running attack of Dixon and Todman will be tough.

Tom Heiser - That's true, C.L., but he did haul in a few TD passes a year ago. He seems to offer a deep threat, too -- complimenting Long.
