It could be a long night. Well, at least we can pass it this way.
Don't expect the Rockets to make a drastic roster move tonight. From everything Morey has said, he has been working to get a pick. He would only use the McGrady contract to get a McGrady replacement, and that's the McGrady he planned to have these past few years.
As for the pick, I still think they will get one in the 18 or 19 to 30 range, figuring that as 50/50. I would be shocked if they come away without even a second-round pick.
But just for fun, make your case about what they should do. I'll throw out a few draft spots -- we'll start at No. 5. Tell us who you would take. As for who would be available, let's use a mock draft to guide us. Let's say, for argument sake, mine. Who would you take if you were drafting fifth.
One more thing, I'm going to hang in here as long as I can. If the Rockets make a move or we start getting close to deadline, I'll duck out for awhile and come back between deadlines.
