[Comment From Ryan]
Killer whats for lunch?
12:02
Philip Zaroo -  Not sure what Tom's eating, Ryan, but I'm going with a chicken enchilada and rice.

[Comment From Tom]
I'm eating muffins

[Comment From John]
How can a team that has more than 50% new starters, not be appreciably better? It baffles the mind.
12:05
Philip Zaroo -  John,

New doesn't necessarily mean better. Remember, the Lions have players from the draft who are contributing and a couple players like Foote and Peterson, whom they acquired via FA and trade. Other than that, you're talking about a lot of waiver wire claims. Those are all cast-offs.

[Comment From Jamie G.]
How about some two-back sets with Smith and Brown? Brown needs more touches with his explosiveness. Agree?
12:08
Philip Zaroo -

Not sure what Killer would say, but I agree Brown needs more touches. But he's limited, so a defense does have some idea what the Lions are planning when he's in.

[Comment From Ted T]
Phil: Does Stafford and Calvin rack up a couple TD's this weekend.
12:11
Philip Zaroo -  Ted T, as miserable as the Browns are, they're more pathetic offensively. With Rogers and Robaire Smith on the line, they have the potential to get some penetration. That said, I agree, it would be poor form for the Staff-to-CJ connection not to show up in the game.
