[Comment From Lynette]
What are the first symptoms of this flu?

First symptoms will include; fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, headache, chills, fatigue and sometimes  vomiting. This is true for seasonal flu or H1N1.

Do I need to get both the H1N1 and seasonal flu shot? Does it matter which order I get them?
11:01
Yes. We strongly encourage individuals to receive both the seasonal flu and H1N1 shots as they become available. They can be taken at the same time or in any combination with the exception of the flu mist variety which needs to have a 30 day waiting period between seasonal and H1N1 shots.

my daughter has had a sore throat and a cough and now a fever of 101.5 could tht be h1n1
11:02
Certainly could be, these are common symptoms of the flu and probably should be treated as if it were the flu. Mosy of he flu currently circulating is H1N1.

[Comment From Renee]
As with all the flu, going to the doctor unless severe problems can't help you due to this being a virus? Correct?
11:04
No, you should call your doctor and describe your symptoms and follow the doctors advice. The doctor may want to prescribe an anti-viral treatment if taken in the first 48 hours to lessen the severity.

[Comment From Diane]
And how to I know when and where I can get flu shots? It seems like everyone is out.
