Penn vs. Brown Live Updates

6:50
Good evening from the Palestra, as Penn gets set to host last-place Brown. This game is actually very important for Penn, even though nothing really is on the line. Simply put, Glen Miller and Penn cannot afford to lose. If they do, that would mark a season full of Ivy weekend home sweeps for Penn. It would also be a home loss to the worst team in the league -- the team that Miller left to come to Penn. This is Penn's last home game, aside from the Princeton matchup over spring break, and my last game as a student at the Palestra. For the first time, I'll give the cover-it-live technology a try. It's been confusing enough to set up though, so I think that means I'm probably too old to be doing this anymore. Stay tuned for very live updates throughout the night. --Andrew Todres

Keep in mind as we use this cover-it-live feature that the timestamp on the left part of the screen does not correspond to the game time -- it is real time. I'll try to let you know where we are in terms of game time as best as I can.

Egee has come out firing in this starting opportunity for him, but so far, he's missed two jump shots and been whistled for a charge. At the other end, Chris Taylor flipped in a layup, 2-0 Brown.
7:05
Great cross-court pass from Rosen to Eggleston, but Jack can't finish on the layup. Then at the other end, Brown gets another easy layup, and Miller calls a quick timeout at 17:49. No lineup change. 4-0 Brown.
7:06
Finally at 17:38 Egee gets a layup to go on a nice take to the basket, 4-2 Brown.
7:06
Chris Skrelja drills an NBA 3, 7-2 Brown.
7:07
Penn works the ball around nicely, but Rosen misses an open 3, then Lewis gets a good board but cannot follow, and the ball finds its way out to Bernardini for another 3-attempt that doesn't drop. Then Mullery gets a good feed from Sreklja at the other end for an easy basket, 9-2 Brown at 16:30.
7:09
Tyler's 3-attempt goes in-and-out, and Brown controls it at the other end. Then Chris Taylor gets called for a foul away from the ball, and we reach the media timeout. Gaines and Turley are set to check in. We're at 15:31, 9-2 Brown.
7:10
After two missed threes in a row, one of which was pretty well-contested, Belcore has come in to replace Bernardini, along with Gaines and Turley in for Rosen and Lewis.
