Looked today like voting wasn't very balanced amongst polling places. Some saw very little attendance, others saw more than 500 voters.

Most all candidates were last-minute pushing -- a lot of them said they had been working late into the night last night to put up signs. But all they can do is watch the numbers come in.

Sarah Frier -  Wow, my reporter tells me Mark Kleinschmidt won early voting by 6 percentage points.

Sara Gregory -  The early numbers coming in show the Town Council rate in a virtual dead-heat.

Sara Gregory -  Laurin Easthom and Penny Rich are leading the pack of seven now, although it's of course very early in the night.

I was personally amazed at the low turnout at early voting...only about 1,500 people. What do you all think?
