So how long do you think Brewster has before he's history. Do you think maturi has a short list of replacements in his head already?
12:01
Kent Youngblood -  Wow, let's not waste any time here with little issues. If you're asking what AD Joel Maturi will do? I think he believes Brewster has already done enough to be back for another year. The question now is what will it take for Brewster to get his contract extended? Eight wins would do that. And maybe seven wins. It would be the same number as last year, but against a more difficult schedule.

Any word on Decker's surgery?
12:01
Kent Youngblood -  His surgery went as planned yesterday in Charlotte, N.C., Coach Brewster said it went well.

[Comment From Weber in the backyard]
Is Adam Weber suffering because of other problems with this team?
12:02
Kent Youngblood -  That's been the question of the season, hasn't it? Weber, stats-wise and production-wise, has been up and down. There have been a lot of theories -- new offense, new delivery, etc. I think it boils down to a pretty simple explanation: He hasn't often had time to find his second and third receivers when his primary receiver has been covered. He got that time against MSU and look what happened.

[Comment From Bob in Bemidji]
Do you think recruiting in football suffers when bad stuff happens in other programs -- like the Royce White/Trevor Mbakwe nonsense with the basketball team. I've got to think that rubs on some kids who would otherwise consider the U.
12:03
Kent Youngblood -  Interesting question. In general, when it comes to out-state recruits, I don't think it has a huge impact. Look at what happened down in Iowa a few seasons ago, all the arrests. But the Hawkeyes kept getting good players.

What is your gut feeling about where Seantrel Henderson will end up?
