Philadelphia Union introduces its new coach

3:30
"I don't believe in words, I believe in hard work," is how Nowak explained his coaching philospohy. "We will try to establish the culture that the Philadelphia Union will be very well known around MLS and also internationally."
3:31
Nowak appears to have done his homework about Philadelphia. "The Philadephia region has had success in all major sports - baseball football, college," he said. "We want to be part of this success."

I appreciate the shoutout...
3:32
I asked Nowak about making the transition back from the national team setup to coaching at club level.

"I learned a lot and I tried to evaluate myself as a coach," Nowak said of his time with the national team. "I always look every day in the mirror and ask did I make mistakes and how can I improve things."
3:32
"They did a tremendous job to open my eyes to many things," he added. "With the national team you have to be so focused and prepared for every single game."
3:34
But he admitted that with the national team, "you don't have time to fix it if you make something wrong .... in Major League Soccer you have [all] 12 months" to keep working.

Okay, my internet connection here is really slow. So bear with me.

Union PR chief Carl Cherkin says the team has sold over 7,000 season tickets so far.
3:40
The press conference just ended - that was short, wasn't it. I'm going to go talk to Nowak but I'm also going to leave the chat open for a while so that you can send in comments. They might not show up right away but I'll approve them as soon as I get back.

[Comment From Steve]
Can you confirm if the season tickets are deposits, or full season tickets?
3:50
I'm told it's a combination of plans.
