I asked Nowak about making the transition back from the national team setup to coaching at club level.

"I learned a lot and I tried to evaluate myself as a coach," Nowak said of his time with the national team. "I always look every day in the mirror and ask did I make mistakes and how can I improve things."

3:32	"They did a tremendous job to open my eyes to many things," he added. "With the national team you have to be so focused and prepared for every single game."

3:34	But he admitted that with the national team, "you don't have time to fix it if you make something wrong .... in Major League Soccer you have [all] 12 months" to keep working.
