| John McClain - Gang, before we get started on this chat, let me inform you I'm still on vacation and will do a couple of blogs this week and another chat Thursday at noon. I'm not sure about the rest of the offseason program. I can tell you, though, that I'm quite excited about the season and the Texans' prospects for having their first winning record and making the playoffs for the first time.
I watched the first of the OTAs today. Players were scattered around the field with their position coaches. Cornerback Dunta Robinson wasn't there, of course. Two rookies -- defensive end Connor Barwin and running back Jeremiah Johnson -- can't participate in the OTAs because their colleges, Cincinnati and Oregon, haven't had their graduation. What a stupid rule. Common sense should prevail on this issue.
Now, let's get this show on the road.
