7:00	Sheriff Strittmatter - When we do a security check we remove everything, then we return it after we determine there is no contraband or weapons

There has been talk about the lock down of the jail. Today in the paper there was a comment from an inmate about what really occured. You may think just because this person is an inmate that the comments were not true. Well I wanted to let you know, I experienced for myself a piece of that lock down during a visitation of a family member. I am not a criminal, have never been arrested for a thing in my life, but I sure have been treated like one during visitation. I can not help what my familyl member did, would never condone it, but non the less it is still my family and I still love and visit them.

7:02	Sheriff Strittmatter - With regard to the letter that was submitted today, that person is not incarcerated, and I am not certain that he authored the letter that was published.
