Kevin Spain, T-P -  Welcome to this week's Hornets chat. We'll be going live with Times-Picayune reporter Jimmy Smith shortly. Go ahead and start sending in your questions.
11:00
Kevin Spain, T-P -  OK, everybody, we're going live with Jimmy and we'll be taking your questions.

[Comment From BushBeater]
CP3 looked a little tentative yesterday and had WAAYYYY more of his shots blocked than usual. I saw him grimace more than twice. Was it a just a bad match-up or did he tweak something?
11:01
Jimmy Smith, T-P -  No one can have great shooting nights each time out, BushBeater. I don't think he's aggravated anything injury-wise. We'll just have to take a close look tonight against the Sixers and see what happens.

[Comment From Egon]
DWest was great yesterday. He looked a little sore on that ankle afterwards, though. Everything OK? I can't take any more injuries on this team!
11:02
Jimmy Smith, T-P -  As with CP, Egon, we'll know more by game time tonight. D-West did look a little gimpy, but the T-P story by my partner, John Reid, this morning said West believes he'll be good to go tonight in Philly. Let's see what develops.

[Comment From Big Ern]
What happened to Hilton Armstrong? He had been really asserting himself and playing well. Why in the last 8 games has he been in Byron Scott's doghouse?
11:04
Jimmy Smith, T-P -  Well, Big Ern, if you've been following our coverage in recent weeks, you'll know that Byron Scott was not pleased with the way Armstrong had been playing in Tyson Chandler's absence, but he really had not choice but to play him because he needed a big man to start in the post. Armstrong has also had some knee soreness, and Scott had mentioned that once Chandler was back on the floor, he'd likely shut Armstrong down for a while to get his knee stronger. As long as Sean Marks continues to play as he has, Hilton will be  a spectator for a while.

[Comment From hornethed]
Jimmy, talk about how well David West has been playing lately. Actually, how well he's played all season.
11:05
Jimmy Smith, T-P -  I've said all season, hornethed, that David West is an All-Star caliber player. He has certainly reinforced that belief in the last four or five games. Just incredible performances. But, as you state, he has been doing that all season. Can't please everyone, and D-West certianly has his share of detractors, though not many of them are well-informed.
