1:08	Nick Nasad - CMS - the fundamental news from the US has not changed dramatically, the country is still in a severe recession, and this month has seen many companies from Caterpiller, to Sprint, to Home Depot announcing layoffs.

1:09	Nick Nasad - CMS - we are also seeing retailers like Macy's cutting jobs following a very weak Christmas shopping season.

1:09	Nick Nasad - CMS - therefore expectatiosn are for another half a million jobs to be lost. with exact estimates in the 525K range.

1:10	Nick Nasad - CMS - a result that is worse than that will pressure the Dollar initially

1:11	Nick Nasad - CMS - but as we have seen the past couple of months, the market reacts to negative news from the US with an increase in risk aversion, and flight to the Dollar as a safe haven.
