| York Daily Record - Welcome to the Southpaw for the World Series Game 4 chat. If you've been here before, thanks for returning. If this is your first time joining us, I hope you have fun and enjoy the night.
Last night, the Southpaw had three prior engagements and couldn't chat. Of course, the New York Yankees had a fantastic evening, rallying from a 3-0 deficit and beating Cole Hamels, the 2008 NLCS and World Series MVP.
For the Philadelphia Phillies, Jayson Werth was the only player who showed up in game 3.
So the Phillies trail 2-games to 1.
The Yankees send their ace, CC Sabathia, to the hill. He's 3-1 this post season and won 19 games this season.
The Phillies send Joe Blanton to to dual with the southpaw. Blanton was 12-10 on the season. While he's making just his second post-season start this year, he went 2-0 with a 3.17 ERA during last season's championship run. |
