Will Roy finally put up and shut up tonight? Or do you see the Eagles with their great secondary shutting him down like everyone else seems to do?
6:03
Tim MacMahon (ESPNDallas) -

Shut up? Probably not. Put up? Hard to have much confidence in that, even though he put in extra work with Romo after practice all week.

However, it is worth noting that Williams has had two of his best games against the Eagles. He had a nine-catch, 135-yard, two-TD game against Philly as a rookie. He had a career-high 204 yards on nine catches, including a TD, here in 2007.

Of course, that was before Asante Samuel signed with the Eagles. Williams had a grand total of 4 yards on two catches during the Philly Flop to end last season.

Tim MacMahon (ESPNDallas) -  The Eagles have three starters on the inactive list: RB Brian Westbrook, DE Victor Abiamiri and SLB Chris Gocong. The other Philly inactives: CB Dimitri Patterson, RB P.J. Hill, OG Max Jean-Giles, OG Mike McGlynn and WR Kevin Curtis.

Still waiting for Cowboys' inactives, but I don't expect any significant changes from last week.

I think Dallas needs 2 pound the rock, keep philly offense on the side, and take chances off the running game. Your take?
6:07
Tim MacMahon (ESPNDallas) -  I agree that establishing the run is extremely important for the Cowboys tonight. They must take advantage of the absences of a starting DE and OLB.

The Eagles thrive on third-and-long situations. They rank among the league leaders in third-down conversion percentage (33.0), sacks (23) and turnovers forced (21). If the Cowboys aren't able to run the ball, Philly can let loose with all of its creative blitz packages.

Marion Barber doesn't have a good track record against the Eagles, averaging 3.4 yards per carry in seven games vs. Philly. He needs to have a good game to take the pressure off Tony Romo and keep the Dallas defense fresh.

will the cowboys win
6:09
Tim MacMahon (ESPNDallas) -

After witnessing the debacle here in December, I just can't bring myself to predict a Cowboys win at the Linc. But I think this will be a heck of a game.

Eagles 28, Cowboys 24.

My crystal ball sees DeSean Jackson making a big play that's the difference in the game.

How long will Roy Williams last in Dallas if he keeps playing the way he is?
6:11
Tim MacMahon (ESPNDallas) -  I can't see the Cowboys cutting Williams this offseason. Jerry Jones just doesn't admit mistakes that quickly, especially when he's invested two premium draft picks and  a $9 million per season contract.

If this continues, Williams might not be a Cowboy in 2011.

But ... it's also tough to see Williams continuing to be so unproductive. I don't think he'll ever be worth what the Cowboys gave up to get him or pay him, but it's puzzling that he hasn't at least produced like a solid No. 2 WR. This is still a big, tall, talented guy we're talking about.
