Do you think Kelly would want to try to get Anna DeForge back?
6:08
Hi Jay and thanks for your question. As for Anna returning, at this point, I might think it's pretty doubtful. I say that based on two things ... one is that we're loaded with guards and I'm not sure who would have to vacate her spot on the team. Second, is a contract consideration. I know that she was making decent money in Minnesota, based purely on the fact that she had a guaranteed contract which the Lynx bought out. So ... could we afford her under our salary cap? For those reasons, I just think it would be unlikely.

Fans, I will be chatting and answering any questions throughout tonight's game, in between other PR duties. There may be gaps between answers from time to time, but I'll always let you know what I'm doing. I'll also try to add thoughts on the game as it progresses.

Be sure to tune in either to Chris Denari on 1070 The Fan or to the WNBA LiveAccess link at http://www.wnba.com/fever/live.jsp. Or, if you're really talented, you can turn DOWN the volume on your computer, turn UP the volume on 1070 The Fan, and configure your screen for both LiveAccess and this chat!

Read on IndyStar.com this morning that this likely could be the Fever's last season? Even though I live in Texas I am a Fever fan and would hate to see them fold too. What are the odds of the Fever continuing past this season?

Hi Becky. I'm not too good at predictions, so I won't offer any odds. My personal opinion is that it is very, very unlikely. However ... and I wrote about this in a blog this morning - http://www.wnba.com/fever/news/messenger.html - that this is a VERY IMPORTANT season for the Fever. We need to win on the court, and we need to win in the arena. That part is true. The Fever and the WNBA exists for the fans, and because of the growth of girls and women's basketball. But it will not exist if it is not supported. That part is true. So, it is vital that we draw fans this year. That part is very factual. Where is the line drawn for ownership? That's not for me to know. All I know is that we need to do our best to win at every opportunity - on the court, in the seats and in the community.

It's a great product that continues to grow. It's a different game than the NBA. My hope is that for everyone that supports this game, they need to get their butts to games this year.

We have three great home games to tipoff this opening week. After tomorrow's game with the Lynx, we've got Seattle with Sue Bird, Lauren Jackson and local favorite Katie Gearlds. Then on Friday, we've got Lisa Leslie and the Sparks, with another Purdue grad, Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton.

We should draw well this opening week ----- and hopefully it can be a springboard to a great season all summer.

Hello. What do you think about that what Tamika Catchings has done in Poland - I mean after her's eye injury she didn't go back to US but stayed with team for the 5th Final game, played with special protective goggles, won the gold medal and became MVP of the final. Do you know the story?
6:23
I am not familiar with that story. But I've seen it before and I would call it vintage Tamika. She's one of a kind. She's a gamer. She's sincere and genuine. She's a fighter and a constant hard worker. While I don't know of the story and it doesn't surprise me, if you'd have told me of the injury and asked me if she'd play ... I'd have told you, "yes, if there is any way possible, she will play." I've been with her now for seven years. That is vintage Tamika.
