Yeah, because the Europa League will be so very different.

I'm surprised at how much I'm suddenly looking forward to this.

Surprisingly good showing from the Ukranian sides this year--it's a footballing country on the rise, and I think a UEFA Cup win would mean a lot

chris -  Both Russia and Ukraine are really making noise. If Shakhtar win I believe 3 out of the last 6 will have been won by one of the two, with the others to Spain. Not bad company.

How's Ukraine looking for the Euro 2012 in their own country, by the way?

Germany needs a trophy too. How long since a Bundesliga team won a European trophy?

Well, I was wondering if they'd make any impact in the actual games, rather than if they were to hold them. Haven't really considered them losing the Euro by now.

chris -  I think judging by how well even Austria did this past summer, they're always going to do well in front of home.
11:21
Daryl -  I'd say it's hard to tell three years in advance. Although we'll get the chance to see some of the players up close in this game.

Anyone in particular we should be looking out for?
11:22
chris -

Little disappointed that it's Shakhtar and not Dynamo. Shakh are very much a Brazilian team in Ukraine.
