Toby Clark -  The Sun led with a story on the vehicle scrappage scheme today, claiming that it would apply to any vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes GVW - they used the excellent headline 'White Van Man can land two grand by canning van' - and also claiming that it would only apply to British-made vehicles. While this would be nice for LDV, Vauxhall and Ford, how exactly would that square with EU competition law?
12:33
Twitterrt_ChristopherW -  No mention of fuel duty in the national press today in the lead-up to the budget. Is a suprise in store?
