2:01	Charity - We do realize that right now everyone in the Western world is watching or listening to the Michael Jackson memorial service, which is being held now in Los Angeles. But still. There must be some readers and writers out there looking to chat!

2:02	Charity - Some ideas for subjects we can talk about today: 1.) Songwriting and lyrics (hey, to tie in with the whole Jackson mania sweeping the country -- am I the only one who is impervious?) 2.) Writing plans for the summer 3.) What you are reading this summer

2:03	Charity - Hi T.L.! You mean because of this whole Jackson business?

Mike - Charity's thinking about making up a poll of some sort, but while everyone else is being distracted by Michael Jackson -- have you ever seen so many people being ELATED to attend a funeral? -- I've been distracted by an occasional roar as some sort of giant metal-crunching machine pulls down yet another section of the Aud just outside our windows. Should really write about that, I suppose . . .

2:07	Charity - I am glad you did that! Writers' groups are a lot of fun -- and can be a huge help to your writing. Tell us about yours! How often do you meet, and how do you run your meetings? Is it fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or what?
