Hey Thom (and Thea). Lurking around to see what opportunities are being planned for the colder months to follow!
10:58
Thea Miller Ryan -  The Outdoor Campus has a lot of great winter activities... did you see Thom's article in today's paper? We've got cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing... even a moonlight ski event. What are you most interested in doing this winter?
10:59
Argus Leader -  Also, Thea, Falls Area Bicyclists will be hosting a ride on Nov. 21 for Winter Wonderland. Everyone will decorate their bikes with lights and be in the parade. For more info, visit www.clubfab.org

Thea Miller Ryan -  Families can learn to snowshoe in January at The Outdoor Campus (provided we have snow! Let it snow!). We have snowshoes that will fit kids ages 5 and up - it's a great class. We say 6 steps and you're an expert!
11:02
Thea Miller Ryan -  Or, if you're into orienteering AND snowshoeing, we've got a class for that, too. Participants will learn the basics of orienteering (using map and compass), and go do an orienteering course while wearing snowshoes!
11:02
Argus Leader -  Thea, what about costs associated with these programs? And what are the fall/winter hours?
11:03
Thea Miller Ryan -  The best part - we're FREE! Our funding comes from the sale of hunting and fishing licenses in SD. Thank a hunter or an angler!
11:04
Thea Miller Ryan -  Hours - we're open regular business hours: M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays 1 to 4 p.m. Many of our classes are in the evening, too.

Do most of these activities fall on weekends?
