6:38	We will track three girls championships Saturday. There will be a tripleheader at Gannon's Hammermill Center: Class A Kennedy Catholic vs. Eisenhower, 1 p.m. Class AA Villa Maria vs. Girard, 2:30 p.m. Class AAA General McLane vs. Mercyhurst Prep, 4 p.m.

6:39	Hickory 11, East 9: 3 minutes to go in the first quarter. East is 5-for-13 shooting early. Gil Rogers has four points.

6:43	Ron Leonardi reports that the Hammermill Center is filling up for the Prep-McDowell game. It's already getting loud. One game note: Jason Franz, a 6-foot 4-inch senior forward, suffered a leg injury in practice this week and will not play. He's a key reserve.

6:45	Hickory 15, East 15: End of the first quarter. East ended the quarter on a 9-4 run. Corey Ratliff made an amazing, jumper while falling down during the run. He also has a putback as time expired to tie the game.

6:48	We should have updates a little later on the Class A title game. Our reporter is covering the McLane-Farrell game is on the way to Slippery Rock University.

6:54	Hickory 21, East 21: 3:32 left in the half. Matt Durisko has taken over for Hickory, with 12 points. Wendell Torres, East's 6-foot 6-inch forward, picked up his second foul and is on the bench.

6:55	Torres has five points and six rebounds.
