Will Krankcar move to tottenham?
9:02
Tom Adams -  Rey, thanks for getting involved. Kranjcar is one of the moves that should indeed happen today. You can check out the full story here. We are also expecting Richard Dunne to join Aston Villa, David Bentley to move to Manchester City and all manner of players to join Portsmouth. They have already signed Hassan Yebda from Benfica on loan  while Nicky Shorey is also believed to be heading for a medical at Fratton Park.
9:05
Tom Adams -  The Stoke Sentinel is reporting that Tony Pulis is looking to sign Martin Petrov from Manchester City today, although Spurs are also believed to be interested in the Bulgarian. Stoke have already shown  their growing ambition this summer by signing Tuncay, but getting Petrov from City would be a real coup.
9:11
Tom Adams -  It seems that while Portsmouth are looking to completely overhaul their squad, Amr Zaki will not be heading to Fratton Park as his agent has told the Egyptian press that Zamalek have rejected an offer for the striker.

Any news on David James going to Spurs?
9:13
Tom Adams -  Ian, there is nothing confirmed as yet but James could well be heading to White Hart Lane. It wouldn't be a transfer deadline day without Spurs getting someone, would it?

[Comment From Vic ]
Any news from big 4 ?
9:14
Tom Adams -  Vic, as things stand it looks like being a quiet day for the big four. Liverpool don't have any money to spend, Manchester United have always maintained they are done for the summer and  Arsenal don't appear close to signing anyone. I have an inkling that Chelsea may be doing some business though, just a hunch.
