Andrea Bargnani was the 3rd best scoring centre in the second half of last season, and if he continues that trend of improvement this season, with the addition of Hedu Turkoglu, a healthier Jose Calderon and a stronger & bulkier CB4, 4 of their starting 5 are as good as any team in the NBA. In addition, aside from health concerns last year, the raps main concern was at backup PG and now they have Jarrett Jack. If memory serves me correct, the Raps of 06-07 won 47 games, with a similar make-over and less depth. As a fan, my main concern is chemistry and health. So why do the Raptors get no respect south of the border when it is apparrent that they are a much improved team? |
