Ravens live chat with Ken Murray

11:35
Baltimore Sun Sports -  Ken Murray will join the live chat at noon. You can begin submitting questions now.
11:56
Ken Murray -  OK, gang, let's talk about the Broncos, Bengals and where this team is going.

[Comment From Kenny]
Ken, with Lardarius Webb running that kick back, he looks like he's for real. Why don't the Ravens consider using him on punts as well?
11:59
Ken Murray -  It may come to that, Kenny, but not any time soon. Chris Carr will continue to return punts for now, and when there's a special need, it'll be Ed Reed. I suspect the Ravens don't want to overload Webb too quickly. I think they also want to work him into the defense more, and defense should be the priority over punts.

[Comment From Todd (Heap) Schaefer]
I'll set the over/under for Cedric Benson at 100 yards against the Ravens, which bet are you taking? I'll also set the over/under for Carson Palmer at 2 TD's... same question.
12:00
Ken Murray -  Depends on which team shows up. If it's the one that played yesterday at M&T, Benson doesn't get 100 and Carson doesn't get 2 TDs. If they are content with yesterday's performance, then both will hit.

[Comment From Michael]
Hauschka seemed to adjust well. I saw him kick a 60-yarder in pre-game. Was the injury talk before the game maybe due to the coaches making him kick 12,000 balls during the bye week?
12:03
Ken Murray -  There's no way to know how many kicks Hauschka took during the bye since we're not permitted to view much of practice. I don't think they overworked him, but I'll have to check on how he hurt his foot. That obviously was why they brought in two kickers for tryouts, in case he couldn't go. If you noticed, on the 43-yarder, the snap again was high and to the right, but Sam Koch did a commendable job getting it down and in place for Hauschka.

[Comment From Darren from Dundalk]
Foxworth really played well yesterday, from my vantage point. Can you talk about the secondary and how you thought they did.
12:05
Ken Murray -  I agree, Darren. The secondary played very well. Couple things there. One, and this is the big one, the pass rush was menacing to Orton. They roughed him up and intimidated him like the old defense used to do. That meant there was less time for the receivers to get separation. Second, Orton didn't throw a deep ball until deep in the second half. Curious playcalling, but perhaps it was a concession to the rush. And therefore, with passes coming out quicker, the corners could use their quickness to make plays. Nobody got behind Domonique or Fabian that I remember.
