West Ham v West Brom live blog

7:39
David Higgerson -  Good evening and welcome to our live blog from West Brom's trip to West Ham
7:39
David Higgerson -  Our writers, Chris Lepkowski and Rob Tanner, are at Upton Park and will be here shortly, providing updates from the game and getting involved with the banter that ensues.
7:48
David Higgerson -  Once again, it's an unusual time for a kick off - something Chris raised as an issue on his blog last week: http://bit.ly/6DS1l
7:48
Chris L -  Unusual side for Albion. (4-4-1-1) Carson, Zuiverloon, Martis, Olsson, Robinson, Morrison, Dorrans, Koren, Brunt, Greening, Fortune. Subs: Kiely, Hoefkens, Cech, Bednar, Moore, Teixeira, Simpson.

I can tell you that Meite and Barnett are injured. Donk and Borja completely dropped. Albion playing with Greening behind Fortune - a role Jono occupied vs Wigan earlier this season

David Higgerson -  Evening Chris

Rob Tanner -  Hi all from the Boleyn Ground. Sorry for the delay in logging on.

Hi lads. Really nervous about tonight.

[Comment From Paul]
This one's going to be tough.

[Comment From Carl]
Hi Chris, are you surprised by the changes?

[Comment From Baggie Bob]
Has Robinson unsettled the team? If I was struggling, I wouldn't be happy being told I wasn't trying hard enough

Chris L -  Hi Carl. I'm surprised to see Donk completely left out and Martis brought in. Not so much to see Dorrans back in. This formation, with Greening behind the front man, served them well at Wigan   -a game where individual mistakes and poor finishing cost them.
Personally I'd have preferred a 4-4-2 formation.
8:02
Rob Tanner -  Baggie Bob, I think we will have to wait and see   about the impact of Robinson's comments, but I would guess his team mates know what he is all about anyway.

[Comment From Matt]
Come on! We need this win! We don't want Chris and Rob having to go to Burnley and Barnsley again next year!
8:05
Rob Tanner -  I don't want to go there either!
8:06
Rob Tanner -  This is what you could call a proper football ground but I can't say I enjoy the trip into Krays territory. Not fancying the walk back to my car afterwards, about a mile away.
8:07
Rob Tanner -  The Lord's my Shepherd is ringing out from the far corner. The fans are up for this. Let's hope the players are

Are the usual mob hanging out of the windows from the tower block? I went there once, didn't enjoy the tube ride much either!
8:09
Chris L -  Col, no they are obviously still watching EastEnders. Can't blame them really. Roxy Mitchell or Chris Brunt? I know who would get my vote.

[Comment From Col]
I like Ronnie more, I think. Bit mor about her
