Hello all. It’s the big day today, the World Twenty20 Final. The women’s event is over, and England are the worthy winners. Sadly, it was a one-sided match.

The big event of the night  is set to begin in just over 45 minutes. Our blogger, Kamran Abbasi has urged the team to seize the moment. But we all know what happened when Pakistan last played a final at Lord’s – the ghost of 1999. And here is Sambit’s larger picture of the game.

Today, we will be joined by host of people – Jayaditya Gupta, Sambit Bal and Alex Brown. Some might make guest appearances; I am not really sure who as of now.
