Rockets' home opener vs. Portland

7:29
Jeffrey Martin -  You have to love Halloween... especially when you're spending it at the Toyota Center. Adults become children, and no one even bats an eye. And already in this young season, we've got a rematch - the Trail Blazers are here, looking as big as ever. Still don't think the Rockets have an answer for that size, but after the victory against Golden State, we know they have the firepower. Nice to see Luis Scola get untracked - or is it on track? I never know. Anyway, the starters are Shane, Luis, Chuck, Trevor and Aaron. For Portland, it's Martell Webster, LaMarcus Aldridge, Greg Oden, Brandon Roy and Steve Blake, who played high school ball in Miami for the man I used to cover/work with, Kansas State coach Frank Martin. Anyway, I've babbled enough. What are you hoping to see tonight? Any tricks? Plenty of treats?

How has Pops been doing? Will he see any playing time soon?
7:32
Jeffrey Martin -  I'm going to defer to my man Jonathan Feigen, who knows these things better than I do: "He played a few minutes in the first game, didn't do much. Didn't play at all in a small lineup against the Warriors. He's the first guy to play if something goes wrong in the rotation." Hope that helps.

Do you think D. Anderson will eventually become the starting center this season?
7:33
Jeffrey Martin -  Personally, I think it's just a matter of time - and that time is going to be contingent upon if he can overcome his defensive issues at the moment. He's a skilled offensive player, no doubt.

Jeffrey Martin -  Aaron Brooks is addressing the fans... During Yolanda Adams' terrific rendition of the national anthem, they flashed a picture of T-Mac. There were a few boos... Really? Has it come to that?

Dorsey has been struggling do you think he will get a contract extension or will he be sent back to the d-league?
7:37
Jeffrey Martin -  An extension? Hmmm... That's hard to believe. But again, I'll ask Feigen...

impressed so far by all of the scrubs that the rockets have picked up. i think this should be scola's break out year though... the way he finished last season, I think he has a chance to be a 15-10 type player
7:38
Jeffrey Martin -  I think 15 and 10 sounds about right. I wonder which part of the 15 and 10 will be more difficult for Luis, whom Adelman lauded for his effort before the game.
