- He and photographer Mark Shephard are outside, where they say both pro-life and pro-choice supporters are grouped outside the school's main gate. They can be heard from a couple of hundred yards away.

- On the drive in, there was a plane flying over campus with a banner behind it. Couldn't make out what the text said, but the photo was of an aborted fetus. Things could get intense today.

- Finally got situated in the press box at the Joyce Center. New York Times reporter sandwiched between Goshen News reporter and me. Clearly, they wanted to put all the big guns together.
