Tony Massarotti: - Some, I would imagine. Sometimes, if there is a concern, a manager will call the All-Star skipper (in this case, Maddon) and express his worries. Not sure that happened here, but Maddon is not dumb.

Tony Massarotti: - Love it! Could be a bad ballpark for him, but this should give us some idea as to whether he has anything left. Last year was brtal for him. Allegedly, his throwing better now, but we'll see.

Tony Massarotti: - Actually, I think his fastball has locked the same pop until recently. The game he pitched against KC on Friday - the 1-0 Lester game - was one of his best outings of the year. Let's see if that keeps up.

Hey Mazz, the Sox are finally gonna start talks with Bay's agent................thank God. Wanted to get your thoughts about Yunel Escobar as a long-term solution at SS. Heard the Braves want a hitter back for him so we would probably have to get a third team involved. Sure would be nice to have some stability at SS again. Have not had it since Nomar. Your thoughts on Escobar? Thanks man!!
