Who has more of the blame for OU's lack of execution this season? The coaches or the players.

Berry Tramel - I would blame the coaches for this reason. I think it's a lack of talent. After the injuries and the graduations, there is little depth. No receivers to speak. Makeshift O-line. I think that's a recruiting issue.

Berry Tramel - I have no idea if Bradford is playing. I've quit guessing. Oh heck, I guess I can guess. I'll say no to Baylor and yes to Texas.

Berry Tramel - I doubt Dez Bryant gets cleared next week. I think he'll be back sometime this year, but probably not for Missouri.

Berry, give OU fans a reason to be optimistic this season.

Berry Tramel - OK, here's a reason to be optimistic. The defense still has a chance to be stout. Sam Bradford could be back soon. You never know what will happen in Dallas. Win vs. Texas, and the whole season changes. Look at it this way. OU is way better off at 4-2, with a win over Texas, than if it was 5-1 with a loss to Texas.

Berry Tramel - I don't see how Mike Holder is in any hot water, unless he somehow was involved in the Dez stuff. Told him to lie. Or set up meetings with agents. That kind of thing. Now, I will say this. OSU's compliance department has some serious shortcomings, it appears. I don't know to what extent that plays a part in this Dez case.

Berry Tramel - I have no idea if Broken Arrow can beat Jenks. Class 6A football is a quagmire on both sides of the state. I don't really care for it, to be honest with you. They have sullied the waters.

Berry Tramel - DeMarcus Granger is not physically well and remains sort of an enigma in terms of getting ready to play. And there's that whole knucklehead thing going on, too. Looks like a wasted career, to me.
