Hello, Scott! What inspired you to try out for A.I.? :)
5:03
Scott MacIntyre -  That's a great question. What inspired me was really the fact that I knew I had it in me to make it this far in the competition. I never expected or assumed that I would get through the next round, I just took it one step at a time. The moment I got to Hollywood week and was able to play piano and sing for the first time, I knew I'd be around for a while if I could keep it up. That's really what made it for me in the long run. The first time I considered auditioning was last year when they rolled the grand piano on the stage in the Top 12.

What are you most looking forward to about the tour?
5:04
Scott MacIntyre -  I've been dreaming about going on tour since I was a little kid and I honestly am just looking forward to being able to share music, which I love so dearly, with the thousands of people that are going to be able to hear it. I'm looking forward to meeting all you guys on the road and just sharing my heart with you every night on the stage. That's what it's about for me.

Scott are you happy with your run on Idol? If not, what would you have done differently?
5:05
Scott MacIntyre -  I am very content with my run on Idol. To finish eighth out of almost 110,000 contestants that auditioned I'm so excited for all the possibilities that's presented to me now. Looking back I wouldn't do anything differently. I loved going out with the guitar to throw a little variety into the mix. Idol has been a great platform and all of you guys have given me great exposure week after week.

Scott, what do you feel was your strongest performance on Idol?
5:06
Scott MacIntyre -  For me, it would have to be "Keep the Faith" or "Just the Way You Are." I love both performances for different reasons. Keep the Faith was just a fun song to do with a good message. I was able to show a lot of personality in that performance by taking a Michael Jackson song that's a little lesser known and doing something to it. "Just the Way You Are" was one of my most memorable performances and was really a pinnacle moment for me, mainly because I went without the band and flew solo. At some point, I wanted to show I could carry an entire performance with my voice and my instrument.

Hey Scott! Can you give us any clues to what you're singing on tour? Your Wild Angels are hoping for a little Billy Joel
5:08
Scott MacIntyre -  Well, I'm not going to give it away yet, but... I'm not going to give anything away, but you'll be pleased. I'll say that. And I'm going to be drawing from a lot of my different influence. If that's any indication, there's a lot to look forward to... and a shout-out to the Wild Angels.

What are you most looking forward to doing on the tour--singing alone or as a group?
5:10
Scott MacIntyre -  I'm looking forward, mostly, to singing alone, I think. It's really going to be an opportunity for me to give you guys more of a taste of what to expect from me as a songwriter and recording artist. I'll be doing some music that's a little more contemporary. More of a feel of the Scott MacIntyre you can expect to hear in the coming years. We get to really live in the moment and perform as if it's our own concert. It's going to be awesome.

If you could do a duet with anyone on tour, who would you do it with and what song would you sing?
