- Craig was questioned extensively yesterday about the PECO settlement that resulted in the utility donating $17 million to Citizens' Alliance for Better Neighborhoods, a nonprofit created by Fumo.

- Craig was involved in a lawsuit over a former Republican state senator, Robert Jubelirer, who also served as lieutenant governor when former Gov. Tom Ridge was appointed head of the new federal Department of Homeland Security.

- Craig said Fumo wanted to keep his involvement secret because he didn't want to appear to be injecting partisan politics during that sensitive time. Craig also said Fumo's interest was consitutional in that he did not believe it was right for Jubelirer to be serving in both the legislative and executive branch.

- As with the PECO matter, Cogan is asking Craig to explain at length the public policy issues surrounding new telecommunications competition, so as to argue to the jury that Fumo's interest was in the public's interest.
