Tom McGurk - Vineland's Darrel Chestnut is out for the second consecutive week with an ankle sprain. He says he will be ready to go in two weeks. Vineland has a bye next week.

For anyone out there who has heard of Highland RB/LB Sean Daniels, he appears to be more than as good as advertised.

Tom McGurk - The Clan will miss Chestnut's leadership, but they will also miss his ability to create pressure from his defensive end spot. He also gave Vineland a change of pace running the ball with his power style when Brian Winchester needs a breather.

Ben Watanabe - Daniels clearly stands out among the white jerseys in warm ups. Kind of like Andrew Pierce stood out when he was at Cumberland. The Colts will have their hands full trying to stop this guy.

Tom McGurk - Player to watch for Vineland is junior linebacker Steven Ribot. He struggled in the preseason when he tried to do to much. Last week against Mainland, it appeared he was playing with more control and the result was 16 tackles.
Now, Vineland's MUST find a way to force turnovers. The Clan had zero takeaways last week.

Ben Watanabe - Teams are out to stretch. Cumberland, coming off a loss to defending Group II champ Delsea in Week 1, is wearing white hats with orange tops and brown pants. Highland is looking sharp in white hats, white Under Armour tops and navy blue pants.
