WIAA football updates - McDonell and Regis

9:34
John Casper Jr. -  Greetings all. You're looking live at a blog from Camp Randall Stadium, where in a few minutes the Chippewa Falls McDonell Macks will take on the Burlington Catholic Central Hilltoppers in the WIAA Division 7 state championship game.
9:36
John Casper Jr. -

This game is on TV. It's on Fox Sports Wisconsin. If you have Charter cable, they were supposed to put FSW back on Channel 31. Otherwise, it's on Channel 91.

9:36
Brado -  John, good morning.       The live blog looks wonderful...quite the panoramic view from the Camp Randall press box.   News 18's Bill Port and Lee DeJarlais are probably walking onto the turf as we speak.   I'll be camped here in the office in Eau Claire.     We're all looking forward to fooball!
9:37
John Casper Jr. -  It's also on the radio at WOGO 680 and streaming online.
9:38
John Casper Jr. -  As expected, Landon Bresina will not play today for the Macks. He leads the Macks in tackles with 192 and receiving yards with 451. He tore his MCL in a semifinal victory over Gilman.
9:38
Brado -  Sports Radio 1400 will carry the Regis game live at 1:00 P.M.     For David Kmiecik fans of the Chippewa Valley (and I know there are many), he'll be doing color commentary of the Ramblers vs. Edgar game at http://www.espnmadison.com/
My invoice to David for that promotional plug  will be e-mailed  in a matter of minutes...
9:39
Brado -  John, I see the LT staff all picked the Macks.    Bresina's loss is big, but I think McDonell still has enough to win...you guys all agree.
9:40
John Casper Jr. -  I agree Brado. They'll miss Bresina on defense for sure, but with a healthy Hiess they should be OK. If Hiess was still out, I'd say it'd be a big problem.
9:40
John Casper Jr. -  We're about 20 minutes from kickoff. I'm going to see if they have any breakfast hot dogs.
9:41
Brado -

We'll expect a review from John on his breakfast...as well as all his "celebrity" sightings in the Camp Randall press box.
